At present, in the AC synchronous servo drive system, the general application of permanent magnet synchronous servo motor has two categories. A category known as the brushless DC motor, it requires the square wave current direct meditate into stator winding (BLDCM), another one is three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor, which requires the input stator winding is still three-phase sine wave power. Brushless DC Motor (BLDCM) use a rotor with permanent magnet brush DC motor to replace the stator poles; then changing the original DC motor armature into the stator. Reversing the stator and rotor of brush DC motor and using permanent magnet rotor can save mechanical commutator and brush; this is the origin of brushless DC motor.
